Wholly Wholesome™ Topping Ideas
Just finished baking a Wholly Wholesome™ pie, or finished thawing one of our cheesecakes? Why not top it off with these simple ideas?
Chocolate Sauce
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
½ cup heavy cream
1/3 cup milk
1 tbs. honey
1 tsp. vanilla extract

Place chocolate in a large bowl.

Heat cream, milk and honey in a saucepan until it comes to a boil, remove from heat.

Pour hot milk/cream mixture over chocolate.

Whisk until smooth, then add in vanilla.
Drizzle over Wholly Wholesome™ Cheesecake or Cheesecake Bites and serve.
Strawberry Sauce
1 16 oz. package of frozen sweetened sliced strawberries
Thaw package of strawberries, and process in a blender until smooth. Yes, it's that easy!
Chantilly Cream
1 cup heavy cream
1/4 cup powdered sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract

Keep cream very cold until ready to whip.

Place in mixer with whip attachment or use hand mixer. Mix on high speed until mixture starts to thicken.

Stop mixer, and add sugar and vanilla.

Mix until stiff but still smooth.
If you are whisking by hand, place bowl over a bowl of ice (it will whip faster and save a little arm power).
Variations
Replace the vanilla with 1 tablespoon of liquor of your choice.
Bourbon goes well on Pumpkin Pie.
Apple Jack goes well on Apple Pie.
Kirchwasser goes well on Cherry Pie.
Brandy goes well with just about any pie.
