Ingredients:
✔️ 1 package of our organic pie and pastry dough
✔️ 1 lb lean ground beef (or plant-based meat)
✔️ ¼ cup finely diced onions
✔️ ½ cup diced bell pepper (any color!)
✔️ 1 tsp cumin
✔️ 1 tsp minced garlic
✔️ ¼ tsp salt
✔️ ¼ tsp black pepper
✔️ 1 tsp chili powder
✔️ 1 cup shredded Mexican blend cheese (dairy-free if needed!)
✔️ 1 egg (for that golden glow!)
Let’s get baking!
1️⃣ Preheat oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2️⃣ Cook ground beef, onions, and bell pepper until the beef is browned and veggies are tender. Drain any extra fat.
3️⃣ Stir in cumin, garlic, salt, pepper, and chili powder—let those flavors mingle for 2 more minutes.
4️⃣ Roll out the pie dough and cut into circles. Add 2-3 tbsp of the beef mixture to each, then sprinkle on some cheesy goodness.
5️⃣ Fold into half-moons and seal the edges with a fork (so cute!).
